Balanced Cannatherapeutics
Meet Sarah, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, CPHON
Sarah is a Doctoral-prepared Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in Integrative Health and Cannabis Plant Medicine. She is a Certified Integrative Health & Lifestyle Provider through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, a graduate of the Goldstein Wellness Medical Cannabis Advanced Practitioner Program, and a Certified Healer through Dustin Sulak’s Healer Training. She is an active member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians, the Association of Cannabinoid Specialists, and the American Cannabis Nurses Association.

Sarah’s passion for teaching about cannabinoids began while working as a pediatric oncology nurse practitioner certifying children for medical cannabis. She quickly realized a massive gap in provider education—most clinicians knew little about how cannabis works in the body or how to tailor its use to patient needs. What began as personal curiosity grew into a deep professional calling. Despite institutional resistance and stigma, Sarah remains committed to advancing science over bias and helping others understand the endocannabinoid system’s vital role in health.

Now based in Prior Lake, MN, she offers education-focused cannabis and wellness consultations for adults through Balanced CannaTherapeutics. These sessions provide evidence-based education, integrative lifestyle guidance, and compassionate support to help individuals make informed, natural health choices. All services are strictly educational and are not medical care.

Mission
To bridge the gap between traditional medicine and cannabis science to help individuals achieve their health and wellness goals through Endocannabinoid System education and implementation of effective cannabis solutions through an individualized tailored approach.
Together, we will reach your wellness goals so that you may find your BALANCE.
Why Balanced Cannatherapeutics?
In my pediatric practice, I have certified qualifying children and young adults for medical cannabis. However, after certification, families are often left without guidance—most providers are not trained in the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) and lack the knowledge to support patients in making safe and informed choices about cannabis use.

This gap in care inspired me to study cannabis medicine in depth. I sought out resources, organizations, research studies, and expert mentors, building a strong foundation of evidence-based knowledge. What I discovered transformed the way I view health and healing.

Out of this passion, I created Balanced CannaTherapeutics, where I provide education-only consultations for adults. These sessions focus on understanding the ECS, exploring plant-based options, and developing personalized wellness strategies. This is not medical care—it is health coaching and education designed to empower adults with clarity and confidence on their wellness journey.

For pediatric patients, I continue to provide medical care through Balanced Kids MN, where I practice as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Sarah
